ART FOR A CAUSE

I am always in 'awe' of the art done by the children at M.D. Anderson's Hospital. About twenty-two years ago I had a somewhat personal experience with the art on these cards. A friend of mine who had once been a "boyfriend" for me when I was ten years old became a child who would draw art on these cards.

If you know anything about M.D. Anderson's Hospital and the children who create the art for their cards, you know that these children are there because they have cancer. My friend passed away at the age of fourteen and I still have the card that he made while he was there being treated for cancer. Since then I always buy these cards and notepads when they are displayed in our local grocery store.
